About The Chair Sessions

Grab your camera and a chair. Sit in the chair. Take photos from the chair.

These are the chair sessions.

Anyone can have a chair session. There are very few rules for joining this group, but please read them before joining:

1. You may submit up to five photographs at a time. One of these photos must be of the chair that you sat in during your session, in situ. You can submit up to four more photos of things taken from this chair.

2. Please add the tag "chair-sessions" to all chair session photos.

3. You must be sitting in an actual chair. It doesn\'t matter if it's a recliner, a tiny plastic kid's chair, a deck chair - as long as anyone looking at it would classify it as a "chair" (rather than as a sofa, bench, eggplant, etc), it's ok.

4. Have fun! Be creative! It doesn't matter where your chair is located - it could be in your home, a park, a factory, your work place, on your roof. And don't feel that you can only photograph your surroundings - go ahead and photograph the chair or yourself! As long as you're sitting in the chair at the time the photos are taken, you can show us whatever you like.

These chair sessions are a lot of fun, and can help us to view our world in a new way. Give it a go, you'll have a blast.
