Just like it's sister group cgncommunity | Cologne Bonn airport (CGN) this group is set up to complement the internet forum CGN Community of several Cologne Bonn (CGN) airport enthusiasts and the purpose is to build a photographic archive of aircraft spotted at Cologne's airport.

Members can post all sorts of spotter photos that were taken at Cologne Bonn airport but these photos should if ever possible clearly show their CGN origin.

Please refrain from posting pure airport pictures in this group, for that please refer to our sister group.
Also refrain from posting pictures of aircraft that have not been shot at CGN even if the photographed aircraft has ever visited CGN.

So please stick to our group's topic, namely, posting photos of aircraft at CGN, preferably we would like to see aircraft seen in the CGN surroundings, if possible. Please try to avoid photos of aircraft in the air, without any surroundings except blue sky - please refer to sites like airliners.net for this purpose. An exception to this rule are photos that have geo-tags that clearly identify the location of the photo being Cologne Bonn airport. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

Ideally, uploaded photos should show the aircraft in front of the terminals, buildings, architecture in general (e.g. hangars), on platforms, taxiways, either in the civil, military or cargo part of the airport. The angle how the aircraft is photographed does not matter at all. It can be the "classic" spotter photo (much appreciated) but it also does not have to be a full side view but can be a part of an aircraft - all is possible, as long as it fits the group's theme and shows some relation whatsoever to CGN.

Group members should tag their photos with as much tags as possible. In any case, each photo should ideally include the tags "CGN", "cgncommunity" and "Cologne Bonn airport". It is preferrable to also geotag uploaded photos if possible. Contact the admin for any help required on geotagging.
