Trowbridge Estate (a group admin) says:
16 Mar 10 - It's time to inject some new life to the group, so I've decided to expand the focus of this group to 3d design as a whole: I've also increased the daily limit per day to twenty, ended pre-moderation, and relaxed the rules although there are still some to keep this group well managed.
Do invite your friends to submit images on the theme of 3D and video game modding. have fun!

About 3D Central: 3D and CGI imagery
A group dedicated to computer generated imagery (CGI), video game customization and models using 3D modelling software such as Autodesk 3D Studio Max and Blender. Submit your best images!
Product instructions:
- Submit only 3D-related works that you have created by yourself or your friend, provided that permission is granted.
- It doesn't matter about where the screenshots were taken (whether it is from a rough preview render or a game screenshot). As long it is 3D, and not spam, it is acceptable.
- Do not plagiarize.
- Do not submit anything offensive or adult.
- We accept real-life pictures if there is evidence of use of 3D techniques, such as monsters with photo-realistic textures invading London: that's perfectly fine.
- We also accept screenshots of your custom creation in action (e.g. Trainz Railways, The Sims), but the game and publisher copyright should be credited for good measure, and your creation should generally be the subject. (example)
- Custom 3D layouts with your creations from games may be acceptable too.
- We now also accept pencil-sketches of 3D models as long as there is a clear indication that the image was used in the realization of your creation.
- Finally, have fun!
