About Collaborative Film Society of D.C.

Previously a private group for experimentation purposes, this was so well received that I'm making it public!

This group is all about shooting a roll with intent to pass it along.

The idea is to use this group as a central location to find people you can pass partially exposed film along to or from.

Some sharing ideas:
● Double exposure: you shoot a roll, rewind it (for 135, make sure the leader is out of the roll), and the next person shoots the second set of exposures.
● Redscale double exposure: Same as above, but one person shoots one side as redscale and the next shoots the normal side.
● Split-cam: you shoot an entire roll with half the frame blocked, pass it off, and the next shoots it with the other half of the frame blocked.

If you have any other ideas, I'd really be glad to hear them as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing just what making photography a collective, social experience can lead to.
