Text Invites

So our church develops invite cards for big outreach series and weekends. We like getting something in people's hands to pass off to their circle of influence. Has anyone ever tried making a mobile invite? In my head, I'm thinking basically a small jpg with dummied branding and basic information. A pic you could send/forward to the people you wanted to invite. Thoughts?

why not just do a simple text invite (no graphic) if you're wanting to go mobile...it would work for more folks. There are plenty of subscription services you can use to send out mass texts. Used to use "SimpleTXT" and worked pretty well...the cost was reasonable as well. I would just be careful with sort of thing, because you don't want to become intrusive with your marketing. Depending on your demographic, you may still need another option for marketing...my grandma still refuses to use/own a cell phone.
