Deadliest catch

Hey kids,
Anyone know what font was used for the Deadliest Catch or something similar?

We are doing a series on why to invite people to church and the purpose of reaching people for Christ (fishers of men). This series is preparing our church for a big evangelistic series following this one.

I want to use the look of Deadliest Catch but "Deadliest" doesn't really work for the tittle. Any suggestions? I have come up with a bunch but nothing that really throws my hear back (although I don't have enough to throw back). I am even up for nixing "Catch". I would like to stick with the fishing theme and I am way open at this point because my mind is fried on this one.

Thanks in advance,
Hosh

What about just "The Catch" ? How does that hit you.

Imagine it with stormy seas behind it and a rough sailor look to it. Then it doesn't look like a rip off of the show with a slightly different title. I hate doing that.

hosh - the font you're looking for is Aachen SH Bold. Found it by downloading the logo from The Best Brands of the World, then importing to photoshop to generate a jpg, uploaded that jpeg to MyFonts "What the Font" serach tool.

Does "The Catch" have negative connotations? "So what's the catch?"

@chadmaag "Get out!" That is awesome. Thanks for the heads up. That will save a lot of scrolling through many fonts in Suitcase. I feel like I just took a huge step forward.

@graceward I can see how someone might take that route but I think with the imagery with the title, which it will always be, they would associate fishing.

yeah man - what the font has been a lifesaver for me on many occasions, has pulled my butt out of the fire more times than I can count.

Stormy seas and Deadlisest Catch imagery paired with "The Catch" says negative things to me. Unfortunately "The Catch" paired with a bucholic New England harbor scene says cheese to me, kinda like the inspirational posters.
It's about invitation. I always love an invitation to join a friend on their boat. What about "On my buddy's boat"? Or "Welcome Aboard" Use a charter fishing boat image or a simple fishing boat.

what if the simple "fishers of men" but keeping everything else from the deadliest catch... font, ship, turbulent waters... that way it doesn't have such a down vibe?

or even "the great commission" (yawns?)

i know that those two are pretty stocky, but i think with the look and feel of the show-- it may be a good balance

by the way: is The Chad not the man? what can he not do?

@chadmaag No? Bummer it is kind of relaxing. I crocheted a stocking cap once. My mom was proud.
