Your best shot of 2007

view profile

Extra Medium  Pro User  says:

The year is only a month old, and I know several of you have already shots hundreds of shots. Show us what you think is your best photo of the year so far.

My favorite is of a typical sunset shot in Ventura, Ca. Nothing amazing, but I really like the sunset surrounding the pier.

The Long Pier

SMALL size only please. Thanks, love you/mean it.

I couldn't use a flash, for fear of waking the fellow up, and the only light available was from table-top tea-lights, so I was pleased that this came out.

Eagle's catch

I caught this Eagle at Conowingo Dam in Maryland, he landed behind me and using my tripod and a 600mm lens I caught him going to perch and then had to watch him eat his early dinner! this is my favorite shot even though I have some good close-ups of him eating... I was not happy with the branches in the backgrounds ... made it a bit noisy but they were decent and clear shots. thankx Cher

2007-03-17 Fallingwater 2007 and Pittsburgh148.JPG
This shot was a privilege to have experienced. The day we visited Fallingwater back in March, it had to delay opening due to all the snow the night before. Just a few days earlier, temps had been in the 50s. It was still snowing when we arrived, and we had the good fortune to see it in its glory. Definitely recommend seeing a larger size. By the time we left for the day, the snow was starting to melt away.
