Okay, I'll jump in and start.
My newest group is Adrenaline!:
Adrenaline adventures can be anything: hanggliding, parachuting, abseiling, whitewater rafting, parapenting, skydiving, luging, bungee jumping, ...
If it makes your palms get sweaty, your heart race, and your mouth dry, it probably qualifies.
Come join in the fun and vicariously enjoy the thrills!

ooo I got one, actually two:
PitBabes like this one:

Girls and Cars go hand-in-hand, regardless of the political-correctness. This group celebrates the ladies associated with motorsports, not just in the pitlane but anywhere in the arena.
and...
The Bahraini Experience
like this one:

The Bahrain Experience is home to (almost) everything about Bahrain, visually that is.
The intention is to share these lovely islands with the rest of the world, show them (and ourselves of course) what we have here, our culture, traditions, people, everyday life, food, industry, architecture, history, flora, fauna, parties and just about everything else that other people might find interesting about Bahrain.

While this has already made it in a FlickrCentral discussion, it should be mentioned in this thread as well. FlickrSocial is a new group... "Everything you always wanted to know about Flickr'rs but were afraid to ask!
After discussions here and here, it was felt that a proper social gathering should be created - so here you are - drinks are on the house!
A place to hang, talk, and celebrate our diversity in a casual setting.

I have a fascination with images of Mother & Child. In order to be inclusive, however, I started a group called Parent & Child www.flickr.com/groups/parent_child/

Here's one of my favourites. I must disclose that I am the "godfather" of this boy who lives in Old Havana, Cuba.

Oddly related to the above group but not redundant this new one: Adolescents and Their Discontents. This is a social issues group for teens, parents, mh professionals and anyone interested in the escalating difficulties teens are encountering particularly in the U.S. as a result of a) huge impact of mainstream media, b) pressures to succeed (along with their parents) and c) resulting in a lack of time for family and genuine social connectedness and other related issues (mostly related to uncontrolled free-market forces.

O.K., I recently started up a group called "Your Favourite Blogs"; it's been quiet for the past two weeks, but I have hopes it will pick up as people join and share their faves :-)
Which weblogs do you visit often, and what is it about them that attracts you? This new group is for people to post pictures representing *their* favourite blog, and talking about them. There are three rules:
1) You must include the URL of your favourite blog in the photo caption (DUH)
2) You *CANNOT* promote your own blog; it must be someone else's.
3) Please tag all pictures submitted to the group photo pool with the tag "faveblogs"

I started some groups recently:
Canadiana
Not scenery, but stuff... food brands, maple syrup, souvenirs, mascots, provincial flags, coins, bills, knick-knacks, hockey jerseys, RCMP, items of nostalgia, etc.
A good example is this pic, by Sherlock77.
That started because I'd uploaded some photos of currency with beautiful colours and holograms. There is a group called money, money, money but it is more of a collection of currency shots rather than highlighting the design and colours of bills and coins.
The Colour of Money
That was when I shot some Canadian notes and missed seeing other Canadian things, so I started the "Canadiana" group.

Not brand brand new but newish, the Conform Project:
www.flickr.com/groups/conform/

It's essentially a remix project, kind of like broken telephone with images. It's an offshoot/flickrfied of the Conform Project site (the images you post to the group also appear there via the RSS feed). The origins of the project lie with the old Suffocate.org art collective.
Anyone can participate, just grab an image from the group pool or a series from the website, remix and post (link to the remixed image in your description and/or leave a comment on the original). It's also a great way to make use of all the Creative Commons licensed photos on Flickr.

So often an overlooked segment of the animal kingdom, so often unloved and unappreciated - those Beasts of Burden.
Here's a place to post your photos of donkeys, camels, yaks, llamas, and other animals whose historical role has been to carry or pull our loads.
Come one, come all.

We have a modestly sized but high quality pool of pictures in the Triangles group. Even if you don't join and submit, I encourage you to at least stop by and briefly enjoy the view!

New Group I joined called bicycles x 自転車
"The ubiquitous bicycle - the theme I have in mind for this group is to showcase pictures of everyday scene which bicycle plays a part of. In other words, this has less to do with the bicycle or the act of cycling itself." --cktse
--Taken by abstract2concrete
So far there are 3 members, but I am sure there are abstract shots of bicycles in photo streams out there -- so you're welcome to contribute.

Catalunya, an open and forbbiden country
www.flickr.com/groups/catalunya/

Catalunya shots preview
The people of Catalonia have always been open to the outside world. We love to welcome foreigners and show them our homeland. And we like them to feel at home among us. Perhaps that is why so many visit us. Every year millions of tourists flock to our seaside resorts without realizing that, a short distance from the sundrenched Mediterranean beaches, there are places of artistic interest, historic buildings and landscapes which are equally well worth seeing. We would like to give an overview of all these other attractions so as to make your visit an ever more pleasant and varied experience.
We hope you find it useful and we wish you an enjoyable stand.

I've Just started a new group: Connecticut “Land of Steady Habits”.
www.flickr.com/groups/nutmeggers/
"You would think in a state, having more than 3,000,000 citizen's", that one would easily be able to attract a few new members without any trouble. well, it just isn't so! My question is how is the best way to reach a target group of people? Just to let them know a space has been set aside for them and their neighbor's. Can anyone offer a clue how best to accomplish getting a group started, specially when Flickr's scearch engine cannot provide any help in determining members domicile?

I've started a new group for those of us obsessed with Peeps

You know, the sugar-coated marshmallow candy created by Just Born. You see them especially at Easter shaped like chicks and bunnies. Show us your Peeps in all forms--wrapped, unwrapped, destroyed, stuffed (softies), etc.

Do you like your men without pants?

I've got a group going for wearers and fans of Utilikilts, Seattle's answer to the tyranny of trousers!
