About The Center For Conscious Youth Art

The Center for Conscious Youth is an organization dedicated to one thing; you. Using our mission statement as a guide we hope to improve the lives of not only those teenagers and young adults left behind by the greater part of society, but those who have been neglected by their peers as well.

•We vow to create a community for the young visionaries of Howard County.
•We vow to promote the practice of positive living among all that we can reach by providing a drug and alcohol free venue, supporting the dreams of the youth, and creating a safe haven for those who have been left aside.
•We vow to do our part for not only our community, but for the world at large, and do our best in instilling a sense interconnectedness between all people and a feeling of responsibility for those around us.

How do we propose to do this? The Center of Conscious Youth will be a concert venue, open to all but with a focus on the underground music community. It will also be an art gallery, once again open to any who want to be heard, but with a focus on those whos art isn’t generally accepted by society at large. But above all else, the CCY will be a community center and a place for learning and growth. A place where we can all come together and be proud of our accomplishments, where we can work and play, and where we can grow as individuals and guide those who have been put into the same lonesome shoes as we have.

So come, share your visions without inhibition. Every creation is relevant to the collective conciousness of humanity. Your dreams will carry us into a brighter world.
