About My subject is centered... So what?

I have nothing against the rule of thirds but, personally, I think some fellow photographers are using it blindly. Sometimes this rule works but, on some occasions, it just doesn't although, lets not forget, it's always very subjective... ;)

In my opinion, the first thing you should see when looking at an image is the subject. If the fist thing you notice is the fact that the photographer used the rule of thirds, it's like watching a movie and say "Hey! Look at this visual effect!". The best compliment a special effect artist can have, is to be ask "What special effect?"

As far as this group goes, only images with centered object (or horizon line) will be accepted.
