11 Nov 09 - After being created just over 24 hours ago, this new group now has a dozen - count 'em - 12 - members. Thanks to all for a great start. Any suggestions would be appreciated. New Orleanians call their cemeteries "Cities of the Dead." Our "Laizzaire le bon temp rule" (Let the good times roll!) attitude dubs us "The City that Care Forgot". Post-Katrina, "Care" could refer to the old shot gun decaying under time and probably post-Katrina neglect. "Viva Nouvelle Orleans!" (Despite what our ex-recovery "Czar" has to say.)  |
