About Free Paris Hilton!

This is a quick, ironic movement, tongue-in-cheek and pure fun. Here's all you have to do: make a sign urging "FREE PARIS HILTON!" and take photos of yourself or others holding it.

You can just take a photo of yourself holding the sign (as has been done for many authentic protests on the Internet). Or for a more difficult but rewarding result, get a few of your friends together and stage a "protest event" on a busy street corner. Get photos of the crowd lodging their public protest.

Your sign does not need to exactly say "FREE PARIS HILTON", but should in some way make that same statement. "Liberate Paris!" or "NO PRISON FOR PARIS!" If you like, you can be creative and come up with your own slogan. But "FREE PARIS!" will be our standard sign for general purposes.

Note: None of this is intended to ridicule any authentic protests, which are often for very important causes. This movement is purely for nonsensical fun.

When Paris Hilton is finished serving her sentence, we will change to whoever the next wrongfully imprisoned (ha!) celebrity.
