04 Mar 08 - The best pictures that are obviously or demonstrably of Leeds - the people, the places and the lives that go on.

Please - only post your better shots and avoid those could be 'anywhere' (eg; of bunches of flowers, pets) and definitely nothing that fits into an 'adult' category!

Note: Photos are moderated - so you may have to wait a short while before your photo appears in the 'pool'

About Celebrate Leeds

Leeds is a great city - and the 'Leeds' pool does a great job of taking in any photo shot within the city.

This group is a little different as it aims to capture a snapshot of the best of what makes Leeds. For now there are no rules on what you can and can't post but we do ask that you...

- Ensure the image is of Leeds - that more than you will recognise (form the image or the description) that this is the case.
- That it is a good image; we don't want every image of Leeds - just the better ones
- Don't duplicate - the Town Hall is striking, as are several other buildings; but please don't post endless similar images - just choose the best. And, if there's already an image similar to the one you were about to post; why not hold off for a week or two?

We will try and ensure there is active administration of this group, so if you have any questions please contact one of the following:
