About Cebu Weddings

Cebu Weddings is a flickr group for all wedding photographers based in Cebu.

Whether your an amateur, hobbyist or a pro, as long as your into wedding photography, your very much welcome to join this group.

Your photos may include prenuptials, preparations to reception as well as postnuptial photos.

No matter how challenging and extreme the wedding concept or theme is, be proud to post your work.

Cebu Weddings is about building relationships, we acknowledge comments and personal opinions on photos as long as they are constructive critiques.

We want to build a network of wedding photographers with an atmosphere of learning from each other.

We aim to see the wedding photo-video industry grow and increase in Cebu.

We want to change the photography industry in Cebu from every man to himself to helping one another build oneself.

In this flickr group we will only allow:

Constructive Criticism

Be kind and loosen up. We don't want to scare, hurt or alienate anyone. If you need to be honest and can't help it, then don't comment. Allow the photos to speak for themselves.

Networking

Should you be in need of a 2nd photographer, having a dilema over double bookings or a personal emergency, feel free to get in touch with one another and be a blessing. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Allow others to grow in the industry.

The wedding industry will never deteriorate. Every year, young kids grow to become adults, engagements happen, they get married and next year, there is going to be another batch of couples ready to tie the knot. So don't get threatened.

Teaching and Learning
No need to explain, monkey see, monkey do.


We will not allow the following:

No gear heads allowed
As many of us know, weddings is about capturing all the emotions and bringing joy to the couple as they treasure their memories for years to come.

So mellow down with how expensive your gear or how complicated your set up is. A wedding is all about seeing 2 people in love come together as one in the eyes of God, not how high your ISO settings are or how much flagship/prime lenses you brought.

No Defamatory Statements or Arguments
Gossip is fun but it aint good when your in one.
Maybe you've heard a negative comment from a client about a certain photographer, maybe you saw some photos you didn't like... Keep them to yourself. Cebu Weddings is all about Cebu Weddings, not what goes on behind the scenes or in your contracts.

We want everyone to feel welcomed and at home here at this flickr group.

No know-it-all's
In Cebuano we call that "suhito or sweeto." This flickr group is about learning from each other as the saying goes, "iron sharpens iron."

So "Cebuanos sharpen Cebuanos"

If you get too annoying with your know it all comments, then you will be warned, if you go out of place, you will be removed.

We hope to see those captured memories in the group pool.
