05 Nov 07 - The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) and over 100 volunteers meet on Saturday, October 20 help finish a major stream restoration project along Daniels Run in Fairfax, Virginia. Volunteers planted native trees, shrubs and grasses along Daniels Run at the Army Navy Country Club, 3414 Pickett Road in Fairfax. The plants will act as a natural buffer and will help trap and filter dirt and pollution before it can run off into the stream. The plants also will reduce erosion and provide food and homes fo
