After reading it,I felt compelled to start my own thread

It's difficult to know where to begin to express the horror I felt when I followed your link and read about this 'man',for want of a better word.I found myself asking why did he do it.What were his motives?What did he get from it?Well,to be honest,I could only come up with three reasons.Fame,publicity and money.Hey,it worked for Damien Hurst didn't it?He's now a sought-after 'artist' whose work sells for thousands.But that's just it isn't it?It's all about a buck or two.The fact that a little animal was SO ABUSED,the fact that NOBODY stepped in and said this is wrong and morally corrupt,just goes to show the depths that the human race has sank to.It's not about life and protecting life,be that animal or human.It's about GREED.
Our whole culture seems based these days around our desire for a flashy car,bigger house and all those materialist things that mean NOTHING in the end.So what if our car or mobile phone packs up.So what.What does it really matter? Whats important is RESPECT,but unfortunatley,even that word has become abused.Look at the young people killing eachother.Many times I've heard these murderers reasons for taking someone elses life was because 'they didn't respect me'.HUMBUG.Respect is something you EARN,it's not a birthright,but people automatically assume they should be given it.Instead of seeing a frail old lady fall and do nothing to help her,go over and gently pick her up.Stay with her until you know she's ok.If she's not.then call someone who can help.Don't just pass her by as if she's someone else's problem.And that's the trouble today.We are morally and ethically bankrupt.
People who love their pets have something about them,you can see it in their faces.Do they think of themselves when the weather is raining,snowing,hailing ect. and the dog needs his exersice and a poop?NO of course they don't.They have an unconditional respect and love for their animals,and KNOW that that dog needs a walk,no matter what it's doing outside.They are thinking not of themselves,but of their beloved animal.If only those humans who don't have pets could think of eachother in such a respectful and caring way,then this world would be a happier and safer place.
This 'artist' is no more that a symptom of our times.There must be some kind of market for him,to even contemplate such a vile and wicked act.But we just stand there and watch.To affraid of ourselves to stand up and say NO! People are like sheep today and as each one follows the other to the edge of the cliff face,you have to ask where will it all end?Today you can say the most stupid and wildest prediction and somewhere in the world,its probably happened.You can think the unthinkable,but somewhere,someone's already done it
They say we have more freedom today than ever before.Is that true?
If it means that Guillermo Habacuc Vargas can parade his perverted freak show in front of an adoring audience,who all willingly soak up his evilness,then perhaps we are.But if I can't go and blow Guillermo Habacuc Vargas's head off with a shotgun and get away with it,in retaliation for the poor dog's MURDER,then perhaps we're not.(ok.thats probably a bit extreme,but it makes me mad to see a voiceless,defenseless animal die for 'art'.)The word 'MANKIND' has to be the biggest misnomer on the planet,for the one thing that man is NOT,is kind.

This is my daughter showing her repect for others.She's always been repectful,and if you read my description of this photograph,it may explain why I've posted it here.She's 6 by-the-way


Anyway folks,sorry for ranting,but Vargas got me REAL angry.
