03 Sep 10 - For a variety of reasons, mostly work- not health-related thank God, I've been mostly away from Flickr since late June. I've done housekeeping in rapid fashion today, and need to remind everyone that every photo contributed must depict some person in a Catholic setting. I let some pass where the person is pretty minimally depicted, but mere objects or scenes are not going to make the cut. To everyone who contributes to this group, thanks. It's good to see the diversity of Catholic life.

Photos expressing the life of the Catholic Church, a worldwide family rooted in the faith that comes to us from the Apostles as we reach toward an eternal future. Let's keep it positive, everybody knows what our problems are and were, despite all that we've got a lot going for us and a lot to give the world.

Photos should relate in some specific way to the life of the Catholic Church. People doing the Christian thing in a Catholic way or setting are preferred. Please observe the group rules, especially that photos submitted must depict at least one recognizably alive human being.

Generic nature shots, while perhaps beautiful and inspiring, are out of place here.

Geotagging is very welcome but not required. However, every posting must indicate the location in the title, description, or at least in the tags.
