About Cathedrals UK (see new rules)
For images of Cathedrals in the United Kingdom to display the architecture of the buildings and towers, the majesty of the interiors or simple architectural details such as windows, gargoyles or furniture.
All photos should be tagged or captioned to state which cathedral is pictured. Geotagging is optional but welcomed. Additional information such as where the photograph was taken within the cathderal [north aisle, south porch, etc] is also optional but helpful, especially if another member wishes to find the item featured at a later date.
Panoramic exteriors are OK but the cathedral featured should make up at least ONE THIRD of the whole frame - a picture showing acres of rooftops and chimneys and just one spire or dome in the far distance will be deleted.
Interiors may also be submitted to the Church Interiors group and furnishings, fixtures and fittings to the Church Furnishings group.
