About CARPE DIEM -post 1, comment on previous 3. (Please read FAQ)
Carpe diem.
"Rejoice while you are alive; enjoy the day; live life to the fullest; make the most of what you have. It is later than you think.”
-Horace
This is a group for those that embrace this motto and make it work for their own lives.
The pool is for images that reflect "Carpe Diem". Photographs of beautiful moments, objects, buildings, flowers, pets, portraits, people living, people laughing and just a glimpse of every day life through your eyes.
The things that matter to you and the things you find beautiful. It can also be something not traditionally beautiful but something that reminds us to not take this moment in life for granted. Be creative. Anything goes. There are no real distinct guidelines, just post a picture you love.
But there is a catch.
Each time you post a photo in this pool. You must COMMENT ON THE THREE PHOTOGRAPHS POSTED DIRECTLY BEFORE YOURS. (the images that are to the RIGHT of your picture after it is entered in the pool)
It doesn't have to be long comment, but just take a minute to check out the other member's work. It will be a good way to meet someone new. This also guarantees that YOU will receive three comments and everyone appreciates feedback on their photography.
Try to comment on how the photograph makes you feel, rather than critical judgment. If you have something critical to say, please keep it constructive.
At the end of the comment please copy and paste this:
(from the <a href="http://www.flickr.com/groups/carpediem/"><b>CARPE DIEM</b></a> group)
You can post as many images you want each day, but ONE AT A TIME. Please wait for three people to post in-between before you post the next one.
Thank you!
Welcome to the group!
