Framing the town of Soufriere to the south are the picturesque Pitons - comprising the Gros Piton and Petit Piton.
The Pitons form the island's most famous landmark.

The region is popular for snorkeling and scuba diving.

Marigot Bay is considered as one of the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean, located on the western coast of Saint Lucia, situated a few miles from Castries.
It is famed as the setting for the 1967 film version of Hugh Lofting's classic books Doctor Dolittle.

Rodney Bay in Gros islet quarter contains shops, malls, restaurants and night clubs... Land development costs in the Rodney Bay area are extremely high. The exclusive beach front properties have almost all been purchased by small and large resorts!

All of my images from our last trip some 7 years ago are on film and too difficult to recover :(

Rodney Bay - While this is the most 'new' area of the island with the malls, I was attracted to the Caribbean pastel shades of this building
