Cardiochavitos: Apoyo a familias con niños con cardiopatías congénitas.

*** Las cardiopatías congénitas son la segunda causa de muerte en México y en el mundo, de niños de 0 a 5 años de edad.

*** De cada 100 niños que nacen, 2 de ellos nacen con un problema de corazón (cardiopatía congénita).

*** El 80% de las cardiopatías congénitas son curables.

Cardiochavitos inició en 2001 como una organización de padres, para apoyar a familias que por tener hijos con cardiopatías congénitas, pasan por experiencias difíciles y traumáticas.

El sitio de Internet de cardiochavitos (www.cardiochavitos.org) se lanzó en 2005 y se está re-organizando. El propósito de ese grupo es que nuestros amigos de flickr nos apoyen en la re-organización de nuestro sitio de Internet enviando fotografías alusivas a niños y al corazón, para poder incluir esas fotografías en nuestra página de Internet. Las mejores fotografías aparecerán en la portada y/o en una galería dentro de la página.

Sin limitar su creatividad, las fotografías deberán ser alusivas a niños y/o al corazón, o podrán transmitir mensajes y/o sentimientos de felicidad, juegos, esperanza, amor, lucha, fortaleza, tenacidad, valentía, heroísmo, etc.

Al enviar fotografías al grupo, estás declarando que las fotografías fueron tomadas por ti, y estás aceptando que tus fotografías se puedan utilizar de manera gratuita en el sitio de Internet www.cardiochavitos.org y en material publicitario o informativo de la asociación Latidos de Vida, ABP, con fines exclusivos de beneficencia y no lucrativos. *** Congenital heart defects are the second cause of death in Mexico and in the world, among children between the agers of 0 to 5 years old.

*** Out of 100 newborns, 2 of them are born with a congenital heart defect.

Cardiochavitos (CardioKids) started in 2001 as a parents organization formed in order to support families that because of having children with congenital heart disease, live though very difficult and traumatic moments.

Cadriochavito’s web site (www.cardiochavitos.org) was launched in 2005 and is currently being re-organized. The purpose of this group is that our flickr friends help us in the re-organization of our web site by sending us your photographs relating to children and the heart, in order to include them in our web page. The best pictures will appear in the main page of the web site and/or in a gallery within the web site.

Without limiting your creativity, submitted photographs may include themes relating to children or the heart, or may send out messages or feelings of happiness, hope, love, courage, strength, heroism, etc.

By submitting pictures to the group, you are thereby representing that the submitted pictures are yours and thereby accepting that your pictures may be used free of charge or license fee in the www.cardiochavitos.org web site and in any advertising or information material of Latidos de Vida, ABP, for charitable and non for profit purposes. All credits of the pictures and their authors will be adequately provided. We reserve the right to remove any pictures that we consider not suitable for the group.
