For all creative types inspired by Cardiff - an online art project that will literally put your art on the map!

Axis is currently working on an 'Axis Art Map' for Cardiff, offering an online snapshot of the city's dynamic visual art scene. This is the pilot of what will hopefully become a growing resource profiling different regions and cities across the UK.

To accompany this exciting development and in the run up to its launch, we've come up with the 'Cardiff Digital Dawdle' project and we want you to get involved!

How to get involved

Axis wants to know about specific spots in Cardiff which have inspired you, provoked an idea or got you thinking. The area you choose could be a fantastic building, a corner of a pub (how many ideas have started there?), a view from your studio, a piece of graffiti - it's completely up to you!

Take a photo/short film or make any other artwork relating to your 'spot' and upload it onto our online map. We need lots of inspiring and curious images to bring our map to life and give us a true flavour of Cardiff's creativity. With more contributions, the map will show us the Cardiff we never knew about and the artists and ideas that are part of it.

You don’t have to live in Cardiff to be part of the project, it's open to anyone as long as you've been inspired by the city and can take a photograph.
