About Stanfords 'Capture Bristol' Competition
Dreaming about being a travel photographer? Can you take a great travel photograph?
Your picture of Bristol could appear in the next edition of Lonely Planet’s Devon, Cornwall and Southwest England guide.
Can you take a shot of Bristol that’s inspirational, engaging and gives a real insight into the unique culture, people, activities and environment of the city? Then that’s just what Lonely Planet are looking for!
Lonely Planet’s images help travellers plan their trip and showcase the best of a destination, whilst capturing the essence of the region. If the winning image meets the competition criteria it will be included in the Highlights section of the new edition of Lonely Planet’s guide to Devon, Cornwall & Southwest England, published in 2011, with the winner’s name credited as the photographer.
Submit your Bristol photo to our Flickr group. The winner will also receive an advance copy of the 2nd edition of 'The Travel Book', signed by Tony Wheeler. Five runners up will each receive a copy of Lonely Planet’s Travel Photography book.
