Thank you for voting on your favorite moments in the Capital One-Newsweek American Life Photo Contest! Over 105,000 votes have been cast for nearly 18,000 of your “American Life” moments.

Newsweek’s Simon Barnett, Director of Photography, has selected the three winners from the top 50 images determined by the popular vote. Please visit www.capitalonephotocontest.com to see the winners!

The Grand Prize winner will be awarded $7,000, have his/her photo displayed as the featured image on Capital One's Image Card (SM) site, and a trip to New York City for a private photo tutorial and overview of Newsweek’s Photo Department with Simon Barnett. First and second runners-up will receive $6,000 and $5,000 respectively. All winners will have his/her photo displayed as the featured image on Capital One's Image Card site.
