About The Genius of CAPABILITY BROWN
This is the genius whose inspiration, imagination and tenacity caused a revolution in the English landscape architecture and did away with the formal French garden favoured to the mid 18th century and who replaced it with "pure nature" which he brought to the doorstep o fthe great country houses. It caused an irriversible trend which is still felt today and which extended well beyond the boundaries of the British Isles.
This group is intended to capture the spirit of the landscape of Capability Brown, as we can still see it today.
