The winners

The winners were Jim Henderson (1st) and Kiersten McKinley (2nd) for the open division and Clodagh O'Carroll Pearson (1st) and Lucy Rossie (2nd) for the junior division. The images were judged by Photographer, Rob Brown.

A selection of these images will be on display upstairs in Our City, O-Tautahi, Worcester Boulevard, Christchurch, until 2 October 2009.

About the competition

Postcards from a park provided the opportunity to get involved in conservation in Canterbury, New Zealand by entering a digital photo competition!

To celebrate getting out and about in our parks and reserves we asked you to send us your photos as if you were writing a postcard home from the place you visited. These photos had to be taken on public conservation land in Canterbury and include a person or people.

You might also want to share your photos with the Getting Involved in Conservation group.
