Canon Speedlite 580EX II flash has come to the market recently and even though it says to have been designed for the latest models which including 40D, 1D MARK III, and 1Ds MARK III (since these models can configure the 580EX II from their screen/menu), the 580 EX II is a great, and the best flashgun Canon so far produced, and is also for all other Canon EOS digital SLR cameras.
