22 Dec 07 - I recently created this group for two reasons.
1. so that people with this very inexpensive, yet very functional, Canon lens can share their photos in a group
2. just because nobody has created an equivalent group for Flickrites to share wonderful photos that can be done with this lens.
The Canon EF 22-55mm USM lens is a great alternative to the EF-S 18-55mm kit lens.
Advantage: it has USM so it focuses much faster
Advantage: very inexpensive lens that works with any EOS dSLR, including the 5D
