About Camera Trapping
Welcome! This is a group for cam trappers - people who use infrared and motion-sensitive camera traps to remotely photograph wildlife for scientific study, surveys, and appreciation.
Note: this is not a group about hunting-oriented use of camera traps. There are already other flickr groups well focused on using cam traps and trail cameras for those pursuits.
So, please share your best, most interesting cam trap photos and videos. Short series that show animal behaviors, or a snapshot of set results are also encouraged.
Discussions on trapping tech, technique and like are welcome too.
Tags... this group has no special tag rules. Including the animal common name and/or taxa, and a general location in the title, description or tags is appreciated.
Lions and tigers and bears - oh my!
(but mice, bats, skunks, foxes, civets, genets, rabbits, weasels, badgers, baboons, shrews, squirrels, rats, voles, quolls, tapirs, porcupines, platypus, elephants, rhinos and raptors are all great too)
