About Camphone Competition - "Streetlife"
Lots of people have camphones these days, right?
This is the group which encourages you to make use of that nifty little feature. We run a regular theme-based competition to see who can take the best photo using only their phone.
Any member can submit a picture based on the following rules:
1. Pictures must be taken using only a camera embedded in a mobile phone.
2. Do not submit any images which may be considered Not Safe For Work. You know what this means, so if there is any doubt, don't submit!
3. Images must be submitted unadulterated. This means NO photoshopping or other such witchcraft. This includes things like auto-level, cropping and scaling. Pictures should be straight from the phone. Images which look a bit jigged with WILL NOT WIN, so there's not point trying.
4. The winner of each competition will be decided by the winner of the previous round.
6. Please for the love of god be original.
How to enter.
PLEASE DON'T SEND PHOTOS TO THE GROUP, the group is ONLY for WINNING ENTRIES
By far the easiest way is to install the GreaseMonkey extension to Firefox and install this script, which will add an 'enter this photo in the Camphone Competition' link to all photos in the 'Additional Information' section on the right. Clicking it will submit your photo to the latest competition.
Each competition is its own discussion thread in the group, to enter:
1) Read the instructions, take a picture, upload it to flickr
2) Tag it with the unique code for the competition.
3) If you can be arsed, post a thumbnail to the relevant discussion using these instructions
