About Camera Fight!
The first rule of Camera Fight is: You don't talk about "Camera Fight".
The second rule of Camera Fight is: You don't talk about "Camera Fight".
-------
But if you would like to post pictures to this group there are some semi-flexible rules to which you should try to adhere.
RULE: When you post a picture here, within a reasonable period (say a day or three) the subject(s) of your photo(s) should post the corresponding picture(s) of _you_ taking the original photo.
RULE:Additionally, You should also try to send a message to the person who is the subject of your photo to inform them that they should post the corresponding picture. Again, within a day or three, for those that don't flickr every day.
RULE:The most important tag you should put on your photos should be "CameraFight". (1 word, no quotes)
Further tags are encouraged, but when responding, also try to tag your photos with the same tags as the person who first posted. That way they'll be paired. Then, in the discussions, it'll be easier for us to vote on who won a given fight.
Any unpaired photos will be deleted eventually, to keep things tidy.
IDEA:Flickrrs sometimes have a tendency to hide behind their cameras at social events/meetups. Getting a picture of them can sometimes be hard because the camera is often occluding part or all of their face. (or maybe theyre one of those shy photographers that's only comfortable on one side of the lense.) So the challenge is to get a clear action pic of (at least) another's face while still showing the camera they're holding in frame. Instigators of camera fights should try to be the first to post, since they started the fight.
