You find the perfect photo op, only to realize that your low resolution cameraphone is the best tool to do the job?

Cameraphone DeleteMe! is to acknowledge the artistic excellence from these lower resolution images that normally would be held with disdain.

POSTING

Vote on five other photos in the pool before you post one of your own.
Add a comment containing the date you posted on your image.


THE GAME
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your image gets to the archive
if five (5) or else the majority of voters (not lawyers)
voted 'archiveme' within 10 days after posting.

All others get trashed.

A VOTE IS: a tag and a comment.
A VOTE IS NOT:
-on your own photo
-a tag with no comment
-a comment with no tag
-NO FIXING OTHER PEOPLE'S TAGS - if they cannot figure out the voting system, their vote does not count. Only admins can fix tags. This is because if everyone goes and fixes people's mistakes, no one will to it right to begin with.

Same old DeleteMe phenomenon, with a different element - all photos are taken with cameraphones.

On flickr we are all nice and sweet... always with a tender word for a flickrbuddy...

THAT'S IT!

Time to be nasty, mean, selfish and arrogant, time to dare to say what we think... and nobody will complain because that's the rules members accept.

Just remember - these are camphone shots, so certain visual quality allowances must be made. However photoshopping camphone shots is acceptable, so visual quality is still a factor that must be considered.

So here is the GAME, here we only accept incredible pictures, amazing, astonishing, perfect... from a cameraphone's point of view. Photos with a strong artistic intent. Snapshots of you and your buddies drinking on a Saturday night are out of the question.

HOW TO PLAY

You can only have one photograph in the pool at a time, and only submit one photograph a day (24 hours) to the pool.

Voting Requirements

You must make 5 votes for every one picture you post, or vote on as many photographs as are available in the pool - whichever number is lower. This is a minimum. If you can vote more, great! Have fun!

A vote is a comment AND a tag. Comments without tags do not count. Neither do tags without comments.

You may not use the "Replace Photo" feature once a photo is in the pool. You must keep the same version of the photo until it has reached its five archivemes or trashmes.

And most important: be cool. It's just a game!
