About Camerapedia

Group for photos of cameras and camera lenses that can be used in the Camerapedia website, a non-commercial wiki encyclopedia about cameras. If you add an image to this group it is with the understanding that it may be used or referenced from Camerapedia.

For detailed rules and a guide on how to add the images into the encyclopedia, please read Camerapedia's help page on adding images.

Quick summary of the rules:
- You may only upload images that you have taken, or images that you are explicitly allowed to use, or documents in public domain.
- To upload pictures taken by somebody else, you must have the permission from the copyright owner and you must make this clear in the image description or via an unobtrusive watermark. Do not grab photographs from other sites and upload them here without the explicit consent of their owners.
- To upload advertisements or magazine articles, you must take care of the copyright issues.
- Use of textual or other identifying marks on the images is discouraged, unless it is really unobtrusive.
- Individual images are preferred over mosaics because they give more layout freedom for Camerapedia pages.

If you don't follow the rules, your images will be removed without notice.
