About Vintage Camera Museum
Important rules.
This pool is for camera collectors and the generally interested.
You must consider yourself to be in the range of serious-amateur or professional.
The photo pool is for camera bodies, lenses and other equipment you have an experience with, and/or that you own for yourself. No snapshots from shops or flea markets. Unless it is a good looking up-close image and have something to tell about it.
We're looking for those who are excited about the equipment they have and take time to capture those in a nice way. Think of it as museum worthy.
Please try to include a link to photos taken with it, but do not add them to the pool.
Just the camera body.
Don't forget to read the guidelines.
Guidelines.
I'm searching for camera's or lenses that have something special, museum worthy.
It can be just incredibly old or have rare features. Like a 24 exposure counter switch on a twin lens Rolleiflex. Museum worthy does not mean it has to be very old but we do have to narrow it down to vintage film camera's. Which means most modern autofocus systems are not allowed but a brand new Voigtlander for example would be.
You have to put some effort in taking photos of your collection. Try to put them in a interesting environment. And please get some detail shots instead of just plain body overview.
We'd like to keep this pool organized. That is why you can only add 3 photos per day and very bad photography will simply be removed. If you are interested in helping me moderate and starting to get this pool going, let me know.
Me myself, i am especially interested in
Voigtlander, Leica, Rollei, Rolleiflex, Hasselblad, Yashica and so on + Lenses
