About Calumet Region

Photos of and about the Calumet Region. The Calumet Region (a.k.a. da Region) is an area that loosely includes north Lake County, Indiana (Gary, Hammond, East Chicago, Whiting, Hobart, Merrillville, their suburbs, etc.) and the eastern edge of Cook county that borders the Indiana part, i.e. Chicago's East Side and Hegewisch, Calumet City, Lansing, Lynwood. Enough Region Rats have nested in northwestern Porter County (Portage, South Haven) to sort of expand things over by there, to a degree, so you're allowed too.

Please label the location of all photos, since what's obvious to you and me may not be so to someone else unfamiliar with these parts.
