Please post your photos of California pottery, ceramics, tiles and other related things. This is the companion Flickr group for the Potteries of California website.
This group is not for pottery you made yourself. Unless you happen to be a known California company or potter... otherwise, we'll have to remove your photo from the group. (I realize this seems a little unfair, but for now we want to keep the focus on known potteries so that the group doesn't become a dumping ground for just any pottery.)
Although we try to keep the focus on items made in California, it's still ok to post pics of non-California pottery or ceramics as long as there is some sort of relation. It's also fine to include other items in the photo and/or your vintage kitchen setup or room. Also, if you have any photos of the original manufacturer buildings or any exhibit photos, please post them too.
If you are interested in identifying a piece or manufacturer, join the group and add your photos. You can also start a separate discussion. Please, when starting a discussion, don't title your post as "ID Help" or "Help me". Try and use a descriptive title, either the company name, if known, or a description of the item.
Note: Please do not try to sell pottery to members, or post about your Ebay or Etsy stores in the group discussion or comments. Trading is ok, however. We want to keep this group a fun, non-commercial place. Repeat offenders will be banned.
