About Caithiseach!

Caithiseach - Gaelic for "delicious." This group is for Irish food and drink in all its glory... recipes, baked goods, decorated confections, meals, food in Ireland, whiskey, beer. If it's Irish, and you can ingest it, it belongs here.

Please post no more than 2 or 3 photos of the same food item to the pool. We want members to be able to view everyone's photos without having to wade through a whole series of the same item.

Photos that belong here:
- Food from other countries given an Irish twist, found in Ireland
- Ireland's local produce
- Irish recipes you've made and photographed
- Food with an Irish flavoring or decoration
- Irish alcohol
- Irish confectionaries
- Non-alcoholic Irish drinks

The more traditional or decorative, the more welcome!

Photos that do NOT belong here:
- Anything not Irish
- Food or drink from other countries you happened to eat or drink in Ireland, that have no touch of the Irish about them
- Non-food or non-drink photos

Photos of the above are perfectly good and well in their own right, but there are plenty of other groups out there for them. This group has a particular focus and I would like to stick to it.
