Dreaming

So, I pretty much went wild with this photo in RawShooter when converting, but I think it turned out somewhat decent. Did I go overboard? Any ideas on how/if I should scale it back?

The color is off enough that this feels and works neither as real, abstract, or cross processed. The effect of chromatic aberration exaggerated by the wind in the trees is quite distracting, too.

A composition with more of the compelling path likely would have been a stronger one, lessening the emphasis on the less interesting background. As it is, the main focus becomes the bright railing bisecting the frame. A bright figure as main subject in the foreground might have helped resolve these problems.

Make the trail pop out a bit more somehow and it will draw people in.
