About Cadavre Exquis / Exquisite Corpse
This group is a little (curated) photographic experiment. An attempt to create a photographic narrative based on the 'cadavre exquis' method.
Cadavre exquis (or exquisite corpse) is a method by which a collection of words or images is collectively assembled, the result being known as the 'cadavre exquis' in French. Each collaborator adds to a composition in sequence, either by following a rule (e.g. "The adjective noun adverb verb the adjective noun") or by being allowed to see the end of what the previous person contributed.
So take this idea and apply it to photographs. The group will use the individual submissions to create a kind of narrative for an imaginary composite being.
The group is curated so submissions will be reviewed. I will choose each photo based on the preceding photo that is posted. The idea is for this to be a narrative group, not one with just a bunch of 'cool' pictures.
Oh and if you are a member feel free to invite people to join if you think they would be interested in the idea.
