About Cactus Seedlings
Cacti are a wonder of nature and they are especially fascinating at the beginning of their life when they are tiny seedlings usually only few millimeter in size.
This group completely focuses on such kind of cactus babies. The group's goal is to document this early phase of the cacti life, show the amazing beauty and the interesting details of the little fellows in fascinating macro shots, but also allow to show differences of the various types — possibly allowing a basic identification early in case the seeded type is unknown.
The Basic Rules of this Group
* Only real cacti are allowed — no other succulents or plants.
* The pictures should focus on the seedlings.
* Portrayed seedlings shouldn't be older than approximately 2 years or —in case of slow growing types, like Aztekium— not larger than approximately 1 cm in diameter.
* The descriptions of the photographs should include basic information about the seed date(s) or seedling's age.
