About BWPS

Welcome to the Boston West Photographic Society Flickr pool. Boston West Photographic Society is a camera club of like-minded photographers eager to explore all aspects of film and digital photography. This Flickr group is a public group, by invite only, open to all members of the BWPS (www.bwps.org). We encourage members to share and discuss their skills, expertise, photos and experiences with other members with the hope that we will all become better photographers.


The purpose of this Flickr group is to:

- provide a virtual meeting places
- share skills and experiences
- provide an outlet for the expression of creativity
- provide photographic instruction and mentoring
- encourage through example
- share a passion for photography
- foster a relaxed, social, non-intimidating atmosphere
- strive to be the most talented, fun club in the area
- and, above all, discover new ways to have fun with photography

Please take a moment to comment on a photo in the pool. This group is about feedback and discussion more than it is about "Hey, look what I did." Try to give constructive comments on members photographs. Post a picture? Leave a comment. Just doing this one, simple, quick thing will improve the quality of cross education immensely. Note a technique, offer an idea - anything, really. Just be nice. We're all about civility here.
