About Black and White Photo Award - Contest Open

Welcome to Black and White Photo Award


Black and White Photo Award is designed to let you award your favorite photographers' high quality black and white photos.

We are a "trophied-only" group.

In order for your photo to remain in our group, it must receive at least one Black and White Photo Award trophy (aka invite/award/comment code.)

The first 10 pages of the group pool act as our "Request a trophy" area. Photos that do not receive a trophy by the time they reach page 11 in the group pool are subject to removal.

About awarding trophies

When you find a photo in the group pool that you think is a winner, tell the photographer what you think and add our trophy. To add a trophy, copy the text between the divider lines below.

Award Code (Trophy) -- Use this code when you comment on photos in our group photo pool.

WINNERS PODIUM -- Go to the WINNERS PODIUM Launch Point to find links to all the winning photos from our contests.

BLACK & WHITE SERIES Perpetual Contests -- Enter your best photo(s) in our themed series of contests and your photo might be voted PHOTO OF THE YEAR at Black and White Photo Award.



Invite others to join the fun here at Black and White Photo Award. When you're out and about on Flickr and you find a fantastic black and white photo, tell the photographer why you like his or her photo, then invite them to post their photo in our group. See the Invite Code below.
