About Bus UK: Buses and Pubs
Once upon a time public houses were frequent terminus points for bus routes, and it was a common sight to see a bus parked up on lay-over outside a pub. They are still common timing points.
This group is to celebrate the very British tradition of buses and pubs, by showcasing images of buses at public houses, BUT THE PROVISO IS THAT THE PUB *MUST* BE CLEARLY IDENTIFIABLE IN THE PICTURE.
Just because *you* know you took the picture outside the Red Lion, doesn't count: the Red Lion must be clearly part of the picture. Pub signs are ok for identification purposes. Pubs visible a few hundred yards away down the street a re *NOT* acceptable.
