About Bus for Obama

40 volunteers for Barack Obama from Seattle's 43rd and 46th legislative districts boarded the Hale's Ale double decker bus and drove down to Portland, OR to register voters to participate in Oregon's upcoming presidential primary. Oregon is a closed primary so we were not only registering un-registered voters, but registering Independent and Republican supporters of Obama as Democrats so they could vote for him on May 20th.

We were fortunate to have excellent weather for walking all over the city. We registered 253 people and handed out over 1700 Barack Obama campaign buttons!
