About WWII bunkers in Sicily


In Sicily there are still thousands of WWII’s small bunkers. They were supposed to shelter Sicily’s coasts and lands from Allied Invasion, occurred in July 1943. This group intends to collect as many photos as possible portraying these small military buildings. So, if you see any of them…take a photo and add it on! Thanks!


In Sicilia esistono ancora migliaia di piccoli bunker della seconda guerra mondiale. Questi avrebbero dovuto difendere le coste ed il territorio siciliani dall’invasione degli Alleati, avvenuta nel luglio del 1943. Questo gruppo intende raccogliere il maggior numero di foto possibili di questi piccoli edifici militari. Dunque se li vedete, fotografateli ed inseriteli. Grazie.
