About It Was A Dark And Stormy Night
The English novelist and playwright Edward George Bulwer-Lytton is famous for writing the opening line that is the title of the group, and professor Scott Rice of San Jose State University started a yearly contest to see who could write the worst opening sentence to a novel.
Since the rules are simple (one sentence) anything over that will be removed.
If you wish to add anything, please keep your original sentence in quotation marks.
Thanks, and have fun!
