About Buildings at Risk: neglected architecture in Northern Ireland

The casual visitor could be forgiven for concluding that Northern Ireland hasn't much in the way of good buildings. As those of us who live here know, they'd be wrong. Tuscany it ain't - but there are many gems now falling apart all around the province.
The Ulster Architectural Heritage Society lists buildings that have been deemed important enough to be listed as being at risk. Anyone familiar with the byways (and highways) of Ulster will know that such lists are incomplete.
So this group is for listed buildings (see www.uahs.co.uk/) and for our own discoveries, regardless of age - just architecture that catches the eye, quickens the pulse and is now sadly neglected.
Absolutely no posting limits - post every view and detail you care to!!
