About Building Conservation

The conservation and maintenance of the built heritage. A few other words may be relevant here: restoration, reinstatement, preservation, compensation.

Anything goes so long as you think it will be of interest to conservators and associated professions.

Please post only pictures that are relevant to the field of building conservation - these may include interesting photos of buildings that display decay processes, poor maintenance, repairs, etc. (And yes, I do occasionally delete pictures that I think don't fit in - if you think you've been treated unfairly, send me a mail, and resubmit).

Please don't post general architectural photos unless they are relevant according to the criteria above.

Please try to post descriptions/comments along with the pics.
