I've been wanting to create this group for some time.

A place to post photos of any type of wildlife, but with the intention of learning something about the creature! I've realised I don't know enough about many types of animals / insects / fish and would like to create this space to learn more about them all and for people to show how incredible these creatures are...

Please try and put at least some information about the creature in your description Also, please don't post pictures of pets!

If you don't know the name of the critter just ask, someone hopefully will!

Would be nice to get some discussions going too - so feel free to post!

I was with some friends recently who were scared of a beetle (a shield bug), they wouldn't go near it until I showed them how beautiful it actually was. Once they had learnt something about it, and appreciated it, they all wanted to let it run over their hand, fear gone out of the window. Its great.
