Welcome to B'sue Boutiques Creative Group! Please remember when posting photos to stay within the Group Criteria; if you have questions, let me know. Also, be sure to fill out your PROFILE with all your blog and selling URL's as they are not permitted by Flickr to appear in your photostream, on your photos or in our group discussions. We can easily find you with a couple of clicks, if you have all your Profile information filled out!

Group Description

Here's a great place for YOU to post your photos of new designs made with our B'sue's filigree, findings and vintage-style metal stampings..... as well as mixed media products such as ICE resin, Gilder's Paste, Swellegant Patina Colorants, Polymer clay, fiber, sari ribbon, paper beads. Also permitted in our group pool are photos of vintage jewelry that you own or have permission by the owner, to post. Vintage jewelry is a huge inspiration.

Also, with the trend toward repurposing, maybe you are curious about the value of a piece and whether or not it would be appropriate to repurpose it. I would be happy to use my background in the antique/vintage jewelry trade to help you decide and offer any advice I might have that is useful.

You may also like to upload pix of your show booth set up, display tricks, things you have made for display, handmade hang tags and packaging, storage ideas....even photos of your workshop or workspace!

This group is about IDEAS and YOUR CREATIVITY, most of all. No one is too new or too experienced to be a part of the activity here. All skill levels are warmly invited. Photos are powerful; a picture says a thousand words!

NOTE: all photos posted remain your own, but please only post photos that you wouldn't mind my sharing with others! If you put your photos here, I'll want to promote them at other venues. That's good for you and your enterprise. Each day I will select a couple to promote at FB or on my blog.

Please remember, according to Flickr rules, we cannot post URLS to selling websites on our photos or in our discussions. You can, however, post your site URLS in your Flickr PROFILE, and it's very easy to find your profile, so please be sure you have all your information logged in, there.

Group Rules

Just a few rules!

This group is for sharing. Sharing is kind....so be kind, be giving, find good and encouraging things to say.

Also, this group is for the those who use B'sue Boutiques findings and mixed media goods.

If you are using Ice Resin, polymer clay, Gilder's Paste, paper flowers, sari ribbon or other fiber such as we promote, or the stampings and filigree ** sold at B'sue Boutiques** either in any of the SIX finishes or raw brass....or! some of our vintage goods, please feel free to post your photos here.

You may also post pix of vintage jewelry that you are curious about, or wondering if you should repurpose or sell it. Some of us are vintage jewelry enthusiasts and would love to help if we can.

AND, you can post pix of your show booth, your show set up, your tent, your shop, display ideas, handmade packaging, things you use to sell your wares.....you may also post ideas about photography or show us a light box set up. VERY USEFUL!

If you are in doubt about anything, feel free to contact Brenda Sue Lansdowne at Facebook, or through our website, before posting photos or joining the group.

I love to promote those who use our products, and who do great work, and who love to share!

BE SURE that you write good descriptions for all your photos so that we may know more about your process. Let us know what B'sue Boutiques products you used in the design, as that will be inspiring. BE SURE that your FLICKR profile is completely filled out and that all your site, selling shop, Facebook pages, blogs, etc are listed there as *IT IS AGAINST FLICKR RULES* to post a URL of any kind on a photo or in our discussions.

But it's easy to find all your info in your profile, only a click away. TAKE ADVANTAGE of that and be certain it's completely filled out! Use the tags on the photos, that's for SEO, your photo could be picked up in Google or other searches. Who KNOWS who might find your work?

Be sure that you have photo sharing enabled; I may snag a few photos every week to share on my blog, on my newsletter, on my Facebook Fan Page! If it's important to you, watermark your pix, but if you don't allow me to get the photo, I have trouble promoting your wonderful work at other venues!

Need new ideas? Don't forget: we have free instructional videos at YouTube under bsueboutiques.

The only other rule is....HAVE FUN!!!
